apple cider doughnut holes via Smitten Kitchen
As I lay in bed yesterday, all I could think about were doughnut holes. Yep. You read that right. Doughnut holes. Apparently 102ish fevers do not prevent you from thinking of such things (In fact, I think it made me think of them!). Well, there were no doughnut holes lying around my bedroom so I fell asleep instead. Yet, I wasted no time in finding some recipes today. These look amazing.
The top image looks the best to me — I like my doughnuts plain as plain can be!
